In this two-day intensive course, you'll delve deeply into aesthetic surgery of the periorbital region. The course is aimed at specialists who want to deepen or refresh their knowledge of the eyelid and periorbital area. From the basics to advanced techniques, you'll receive concise expert knowledge and practical tips to help you optimally utilize your surgical skills right from the start.
A special focus is placed on detailed assessment and careful patient selection to achieve the best possible results and maximum patient satisfaction. The interactive course format with live surgical demonstrations also offers the opportunity to apply what has been learned in a practical setting and to ask individual questions.

Comprehensive examination of the periorbital region, patient selection, and pitfalls: Introduction to different patient types – from uncomplicated to complex cases. Learn to recognize potential pitfalls and apply the right criteria when selecting patients to minimize risks and optimally manage expectations.
Surgical Techniques Step by Step: Detailed discussion and demonstration of various surgical procedures in the periorbital region. These include eyebrow lifts, upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and lower eyelid blepharoplasty – both transconjunctival and transcutaneous, each with fat resection or fat repositioning. All steps are clearly explained – from planning to execution – and illustrated with video demonstrations.
Interactive learning with experts: High practical relevance through live or live-like surgical demonstrations in which all the most important details are shown and explained.
Participants can ask questions at any time and benefit from direct exchange of experiences. In addition, all necessary preliminary examinations and pre- and postoperative measures will be discussed.

Eyelid Surgery II
An in-depth course on functional eyelid surgery
This two-day advanced course is aimed at specialists who already have basic knowledge of aesthetic eyelid surgery and would like to specifically expand their expertise in the field of eyelid malposition and reconstructive eyelid surgery.
The focus is on the differentiated assessment and surgical treatment of functional eyelid changes – including:

Contents at a glance:
Finely differentiated findings to differentiate between the various pathologies: precise examination of eyelid margin position, levator function, retraction depth, eyelid ligament stability, facial involvement and supporting anatomical structures.
Differential diagnosis and decision support: When conservative, when surgical? Which technique for which finding? How can multifactorial causes be reliably classified?
