Facelift I
Entry with system, security and depth
This two-day intensive basic course is aimed at specialists who wish to gain a thorough understanding of facelift surgery. The goal is to provide a solid foundation right from the start: in patient selection, in sophisticated diagnostics, and in selecting the right technique for each anatomical and aesthetic situation.
The focus is on:
Examination techniques & patient assessment: skin quality, vectors, fat distribution, facial dynamics, neck tension, facial lengths & proportions
Photo documentation & case planning: precise image management and documentation-safe standards
Anatomy understandable & relevant: with detailed cadaver demonstrations of the pre- and sub-SMAS level, ligament structures, mimic muscles, neural safety zones
Technique overview & indication guide: Which facelift technique is best for which patient? SMAS, SMAS plication, High SMAS, SMASectomy, MACS lift, Deep Plane, Minilift – with structured decision algorithms
Live-like surgical simulations and case analyses: with room for discussion, questions and practical application
The course teaches more than just surgical steps: It is designed to help students think about the procedure individually from the outset – patient-adapted, safe, and long-term stable. This makes it suitable for both colleagues at the beginning of their specialization and those who want to systematically refresh or restructure their approach.
